Paint Shop Pro Tutorial "3D Filter" Continued

Picture of Step 1 Use this method for White Backgrounds. Open a new picture, background set to black and colors set to 16 million. Set foreground color to white. Draw a word using any font and any size. Used here was Impact with size set to 48. Antialias needs to be checked. Deselect the text by right clicking the image.
Picture of Step 2 Apply the 3D Filter you built in the previous tutorial. It should look like this.
Picture of Step 3 Change the foreground color to a medium grey. Apply the text again, same size and font. Get over the still selected text and "left click and hold" to move it around. Align it to the 3d text (lower right).
Picture of Step 4 Apply negative image [colors > negative image]. To colorize, lighten the image [colors > adjust > brightness] by about 30. Make white the background color. Goto [selections > select all] then [selections > modify > tranparent color > background color > tolerance=0] With the text selected, colorize or adjust the RGB valves.
Picture of Step 5 Add highlights and gradients as in the previous tutorial.
