Part 5

a. Duplicate the Layer

1) Click Layers then Duplicate

b. Name the Layer

    1) Click Layers then Properties

        On the Layer Properties Window:
        Name = Brighten Pearl
        Blend Mode = Luminance
        Opacity = 100

   c. Save to Alpha Channel

    1) Click Selections then Save to Alpha Channel

        On the Alpha Channel Window: Click OK
        On the New Channel Window: Click OK

   d. De-Select All

1) Click Selections then Select None
